The Lord is King
William Boyce
The Lord is King, be the people never so impatient:
He sitteth between the cherubims, be the earth never so unquiet.
O, thou sword of the Lord, put up thyself into the scabard,
rest and be still.
Some put their trust in chariotsand some in horses,
but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
O that men would therefore praise the Lord for his goodness,
and declare thewonders that he doth for the children of men.
That they would exult him also in the congregation of the people:
and praise him in the seat of the elders.
Hallelujah.
