All Saints Church is open between 10am and 4pm every day. Visitors are welcome to come and explore the historic church using our family trail sheets (available in the church), heritage gallery and activities. Visitors can also enjoy a hot drink and a slice of cake in the tranquil surroundings of our new The Café Where England Began which is open weekdays 10am to 4pm.


Thumbs Up It’s Thursday

All Saints Church run activity days every Thursday during the school holidays and half terms as part of Thumbs Up It’s Thursday, a popular event for families. All Saints usually have a wide range of craft activities inspired by the history and architecture of All Saints, which attract around 200 people per session.

The drop in Activity days run 11.30am -2.30pm and are for accompanied children only. There is a small charge per craft activity to cover costs, ranging from 50p – £2.50.

Due to Covid-19 we are offering an online ‘make at home’ activity for October half term, which you can find below.

Colourful lanterns

Take inspiration from the colour and light found at All Saints and create your own colourful lanterns out of everyday craft materials.
