All Saints Church is open between 10am and 4pm every day. Visitors are welcome to come and explore the historic church using our free family trail sheets (available in the church), heritage gallery and activities. Visitors can also enjoy a hot drink and a slice of cake in the tranquil surroundings of our cafe which is open 10am to 4pm.
Thumbs Up It’s Thursday
All Saints Church run activity days every Thursday during the school holidays and half terms as part of Thumbs Up It’s Thursday, a popular event for families. All Saints usually have a wide range of craft activities inspired by the history and architecture of All Saints.
Our drop in Activity days run every Thursday in the school holidays (except Christmas) between 11.30am -2.30pm and is for accompanied children only. There is a small charge per craft activity to cover costs, ranging from 50p – £4.00.

Thursday 28th July: Holiday Fun!: Prepare for the holidays: design your own mini beach bucket and spade; seaside scratch art and suncatchers and make a seaside wreath.
Thursday 4th August: Amazing animals: Create your own array of animals themed crafts, including decorating spiral snakes, butterfly suncatchers, bird finger puppets and dragons eggs.
Thursday 11th August: Terrific Treasure! Take inspiration from the medieval tiles discovered at All Saints Church! Take inspiration to make your own mosaics and create mini wooden treasure chests to keep treasured items in.
Thursday 18th August: Kings, Queens and Castles: Did you know the first King of England was crowned on the site of All Saints Church? Come and make your own creations fit for royalty- including creating crowns and decorating swords and colouring castles.
Thursday 25th August: Summer Crafts: Enjoy the highlights of craft activities form the summer – from decorating crowns to decorating suncatchers and scratch art.
