James Hawkins Music “Improvisation with your voice”

Session 1: 10am – 12:30pm

Session 2: 1:30pm – 4pm

Explore melody, rhythm and harmony through improvisation using your singing voice.

At this workshop you will be guided through the process of improvisation/creation of music by writer/arranger/producer James Hawkins.

Learn more about the way music works, how to create interesting melodies, use different creative starting points, play games, have fun and make music spontaneously!

– Adult singers only
– Beginner to intermediate level singers
– Come away with a recording of your final improvisation

Tickets are limited to 30 participants per session and are £33 each.

Jim Hawkins is an accomplished musician, music producer and teacher. He has more than ten years’ experience teaching and working with singers and choirs. His workshops are informal, fun and enlightening.
