Philharmonia Orchestra present Symphonize Kingston

29th March 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Symphonize Kingston is a partnership project between the Philharmonia Orchestra and Kingston Music Service, providing young people in Kingston the opportunity to immerse themselves in music composition and production.

Led by Jason Rowland and supported by Philharmonia musicians, dub and reggae artist I-mitri CounterAction, MC Leah V and Studio Engineer Zayn Goetzee, young people from Anstee Bridge and Malden Oaks have been exploring fusing classical repertoire and style with urban genres to create a new, original piece of music inspired by Holst’s The Planets.

Join us for this special performance as we present the culmination of this ground-breaking project.
